Professional Counseling

Asking For Help Is A Good Thing

Most people can benefit from Professional Counseling at some point in their life. This does not mean that you are weak, broken, or can't achieve your dreams.  Professional Counseling helps remind you that there are plenty of opportunities for success ahead. Working together with your counselor you can gain new skills, perspective, and success in your life. It takes work, but you are no longer alone.

When Should You Call?

If you have been experiencing any of the following:

  • Not feeling like yourself

  • Losing your motivation

  • Feeling anxious or having panic attacks

  • Experienced a traumatic event

  • Had a death of someone important to you

  • Struggling with your relationships

  • Feeling overwhelmed, isolated, or alone

  • Going through a significant change

  • Increasing your use of alcohol or drugs

  • Problems at work or home

  • Feeling a loss of control

  • Impulsive or compulsive behavior

  • Feeling loss of ability to make good decisions

How Does It Work?

Professional Counseling utilizes evidence based approaches to create an individual plan to meet your needs.  These include CBT, ACT, DBT, Mindfulness Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and psychodynamic processing.

Professional Counseling is individualized, confidential, and personal. Professional Counseling is built on the collaboration between you and your counselor.

Together, we work to understand what the challenges are through discussion and assessment. We will identify the goals of counseling and formulate a plan for success.
